Marta is a technology attorney and a pioneer in the area of blockchain law. She is the president and chair of Filecoin Foundation as well as its sister nonprofit, Filecoin Foundation for the Decentralized Web. In addition to serving as general counsel and head of policy at Protocol Labs and special counsel to the Electronic Frontier Foundation, Marta is a member of Paradigm’s Crypto Policy Council and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Zcash Foundation, the Blockchain Association, and Creative Commons.
When she is not working on decentralized web advocacy, Marta enjoys geocaching, which she says is a fun way to explore the outside world, like a hightech treasure hunting game. She has a husky and a cat.
