Janine is a social innovator and entrepreneur specializing in Web3 grants, decentralized work and community building. She co-founded Edge City, an organization that creates pop-up communities to foster collaboration among innovators. In June 2024, Edge City organized "Edge Esmeralda," a month-long pop-up village in Healdsburg, California, bringing together over 150 participants to explore advancements in technology and society. She also co-founded Zuzalu, a pop-up city community in Montenegro from March to May 2023.
An Emergent Ventures grantee, Janine has previously contributed to Gitcoin's Public Goods Funding initiative. Her work is grounded in fun and adventure.
