Daniel is trained and experienced in computer science, product design and experimental biology in the context of neuroscience. Before pursuing a PhD at MIT, he gained extensive experience in startups and co-founded MileIQ, a company that served over a million users before being acquired by Microsoft.
For his PhD, Daniel focused on tool-building in neuroscience, working under the guidance of Professors Ed Boyden, George Church, and Sebastian Seung. His research involved developing algorithmic methods for high-dimensional experimental analysis.
Daniel’s current work centers on the intersection of bioengineering and climate-positive technologies, aiming to advance solutions for both human and planetary health at Homeworld Collective as the Executive Director and Co-Founder.
