Today, Khan Academy has over 160 million registered users across 180+ countries and in over 50 languages. As part of this, he has personally produced over 6,500 video lessons teaching a wide range of academic subjects. Sal’s pioneering approach democratizes education, making it accessible to learners worldwide. In addition to Khan Academy, he is the founder of School House, an innovative online tutoring platform, and Khan Lab School, a progressive K-12 institution situated in Mountain View, California.

Sal's contributions have earned him esteemed recognition. Sal was named one of TIME's 100 most influential people in 2012. He is the author of books, The One World Schoolhouse: Education Reimagined and Brave New Words: How AI Will Revolutionize Education.
